NORFOLK, VA - The Virginia women's tennis team completed play at the East Coast Championships at Old Dominion University by winning two singles and a doubles championship at the three-day event.

In Flight B of singles, Marta Bechliwanis won the title by defeating teammate Lauren Bruch in the finals. Bruch had defeated another Cavalier, Marta's sister Dora in the semifinals. In flight C, Kyle Montgomery won a pair of matches to win that flight's title.

In doubles, the flight B championship was not played after the Cavalier teams of the Bechliwanis sisters and Lori Stern and Kyle Montgomery advanced to the finals.

The Cavaliers return to action next weekend as they travel to Boston for the ITA Regional Championships.
