Women's Tennis Loses to Illinois, 5-4

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- Virginia fell behind initially after losing four singles matches but came back to tie the match in doubles. Paige Boiko and Kendall White defeated Illinois' Wise and Gottlieb at #2 doubles, and Christie Schweer and Leslie Cook beat Shapiro and Parigue to tie the match at #3 with a 9-7 victory. Illinois' Simone Kung and Kara Loffelmacher, however, captured the last doubles match at 9-7 to win the competition 5-4, Illinois.
