Emily Fraser Named to All-ACC Tennis Team

CARY, N.C. – Virginia freshman Emily Fraser (Rye, N.Y.) was named to the All-ACC Women's Tennis Team conference officials announced Thursday in the conjunction with the start of the ACC Tennis Tournament.

Fraser leads Virginia with 26 singles wins this season, posting a 26-12 overall mark. Ranked No. 87 nationally, she is 12-8 in dual match singles, including a 5-6 mark at No. 1 singles in league play. In doubles, she is ranked No. 44 nationally with Jennifer Stevens (Miami, Fla.). The duo is 19-10 this season, including a 13-5 record at the No. 1 position.

The Cavaliers (12-8, 5-6 ACC), the No. 7 seed in the ACC Tournament, will begin play Thursday against 10th-seeded Boston College. Match time at the Cary Tennis Park is noon.
