CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - University of Virginia assistant women's tennis coach Justin Drzal has been selected as the ITA Assistant Coach of the Year for the East Region as recently announced. Drzal just completed his second season as UVa's assistant coach.

Drzal helped coach the Cavaliers to a 13-10 record for the second consecutive season. Virginia was also 3-5 in the very competitive Atlantic Coast Conference. The Cavaliers were ranked 53rd in the May 1 WingspanBank.com rankings. UVa was ranked a season high 40th in the March 15 poll.
