CHARLOTTESVILLE - Cavalier women's tennis player Jennifer Stevens (Miami, Fla.) received 2007 University Division All-State honors from the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID). The Cavalier first year was named to the All-State second team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Stevens had an 18-18 singles record during her freshman season, playing primarily at the No. 1 position in the Cavalier lineup. She was an All-ACC honoree and finished the season with a No. 11 ranking in the ITA East Region.

Stevens helped the Cavaliers to a 12-12 record in 2007 and a second consecutive run to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
