BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia women’s tennis team concluded play  Monday at the ITA Atlantic Regional on the campus of Virginia Tech. First-year Erin Vierra (Norwell, Mass.) was defeated in the singles final, while two Cavalier doubles teams fell in the semifinals.

Vierra lost in the singles final to Nadine Fahoum of Old Dominion 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles, top-seeded Jennifer Stevens (Miami, Fla.) and Hana Tomljanovic (Boca Raton. Fla.) fell in the semifinals to the ODU team of Fahoum and Joanna Dobrowolska 9-7. In the other semifinal, the Marshall team of Michaela Kissell and Dominika Zaprazna defeated Lindsey Hardenbergh (Fairfax Station, Va.) and Vierra 8-3.
