Director of Volleyball Operations

Kyle Homeyer joined the Virginia volleyball staff as director of volleyball operations in May 2016.

Homeyer previously worked at Ohio State where he served as the director of hockey operations since 2014 after serving as the director of volleyball operations from 2013-14. Prior to his time at Ohio State, Homeyer was a volunteer assistant coach at St. Louis University.

He also brings experience as a USA Volleyball High Performance Coach. Homeyer has worked with USA Volleyball since 2011 and served as assistant coach for female Select team at 2011 High Performance Championships and was assistant coach for the male youth team at 2015 High Performance Championships. 

Homeyer graduated from Quincy University in 2011 with a degree in biological sciences. He was a member of the men’s volleyball and football programs and a three-time academic all-conference award winner.
