Peter Green joined the Virginia Volleyball program in the summer of 2013 as a volunteer assistant coach.

Green came to Charlottesville after spending a year as an assistant coach at VCU, where the Rams went 25-6 and finished third in the Atlantic-10.

Before VCU, Green was the head coach of Chowan University in Murfreesboro, N.C., from 2008-12. Green compiled a record of 99-42 and led the Hawks to two Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships.

Green's first collegiate coaching experience was as an assistant coach for Randolph-Macon College from 2003-08.

Green graduated from Cedarville University in 2000 after double majoring in small business management and management info systems with double minors in history and religious studies.
