I went to John Paul Jones Arena's ticket windows, but they sent me to Bryant Hall?
The Virginia Athletics Ticket Office runs its daily business operations from Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium. Virginia Athletics ticket personnel will be on hand at the John Paul Jones Arena box office for each Virginia athletic event.
The John Paul Jones Arena has a separate box office that manages tickets for all arena special events. This box office is able to sell tickets for Virginia athletic events held at John Paul Jones Arena. However, the box office staff is not able to distribute will call or provide customer service related to Virginia athletic events.
Why are there fees for purchasing tickets?
Fees that patrons pay when purchasing season or single game tickets are used to assist the Athletics Department in the processing of ticket orders and online services. Fees help defray the cost of ticket delivery, online processing, credit card processing, phone charges, and printing. Currently the Athletics Department tries to cover approximately 50% of these costs through per-ticket fees and order charges.
I can't find my pin number, how do I access my online account?
Every ticketing account has a pin number assigned to it. This number allows a customer to activate his/her online ticketing account. Pin numbers are only used the first time a customer activates an online ticketing, football ticket marketplace, or men's basketball ticket marketplace account. Once the online account is established, make future sign-ins by using the customer selected password.
If you have never activated your online account and cannot find your pin number, please contact our office at 800-542-8821 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have activated your online account and cannot remember your password, you can have the password sent to your registered email address.
I selected print-at-home for ticket delivery, where are my tickets?
Customers who select print-at-home for the delivery of their tickets will receive two emails shortly after the completion of their order. One email provides a confirmation of the order. The second email includes a PDF attachment containing the actual print-at-home tickets. The email with the PDF attachment can sometimes be a large file, so make sure it isn't trapped in a spam or junk mail filter.
Customers must have Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on their computer to receive print-at-home tickets. Click here to visit Adobe's website.
Print-at-home tickets are sent from email@example.com; include this email address on your trusted sender list.
To resend the print-at-home tickets to yourself, sign in to your online ticket account and then select the My Account option found in the left hand ticket menu.
What credit cards may I use to pay for my tickets?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted for internet, phone, and window ticket transactions. Credit card transactions are processed in a secure environment, supported by Paciolan's PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) Compliance.
Will I get better seats by ordering online or by calling your office?
All methods of ticket purchase access the same inventory of seats. There is no advantage to calling rather than ordering online or vice versa.
What is General Admission?
A general admission ticket simply means that you do not have a specific seat assigned to you. You may sit in any non-reserved seating area, or stand in any designated standing room area.
I get an "Email address already in use error".
Each email address that is registered online with the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office can only be linked with one account. An email address cannot be used for multiple accounts.
My email address has changed, how do I update it?
If you remember your old email address sign in to your online ticket account with the old address and then you can update your profile to show the new address. If you cannot remember your old email address, please contact our office.
What is a pass gate?
A pass gate is used to process admissions to squad guests, recruits, and high school coaches. Persons whose names are left on a pass list must present photo identification to receive admission to the event. NCAA regulations prohibit the issuance of "hard tickets" thru a pass gate, so pass list recipients must enter the facility upon signing for his/her admission. Commonly referred to as a "player guest" or "squad guest" entrance, the pass gate is found in these locations at our athletic facilities: Scott Stadium - East Gate, John Paul Jones Arena - windows 10 and 11, Klockner Stadium/Davenport Field - windows at main entrance.
Can I drop tickets off at will call?
Yes, you may drop off will call envelopes prior to the event provided the names of the person leaving the tickets as well as the recipient are clearly labeled. The Virginia Athletics Ticket Office reserves the right to limit the number of envelopes a customer may drop off, and also reserves the right to not accept will call drop offs altogether.
